About My PONs

ARBA Ch., UKC CH. PJ's Ponsitively Hannah Dori

"Hannah"

Hannah was the foundation of my kennel, DarBozy PONs, and to me she was one amazing dog.She was smart, loving and fiercely loyal.

Hannah's first time in the showring was at a 1993 States Kennel Club show in Wheaton, Ill. She took Best of Opposite Sex when she was just one year old, and from that time on we were both sold on 'showing'. Hannah showed in both ARBA and UKC, and achieved multiple Best of Breed and Group wins.

Hannah is featured in the book, The Official Book of the Polish Lowland Sheepdog.

Annabelle is the newest DarBozy PON. Born Nov 14, 2014 from frozen semen 17 years old and named after her sire, Rockie ( I figured a female 'Rockie' is a 'Rockette'). She started her show career by winning Best of Breed at just 6 months old.

"Corwin"

Corwin achieved his AKC championship Sept 1, 2001, in just three weeks, with all major wins, and was a multiple Best of Breed winner. He was also one of the first Polish Lowland Sheepdogs to be awarded an AKC championship.

In December 2001, Corwin attended the first Eukanuba Invitational Classic dog show in Orlando Florida. Competing against the top 20 Polish Lowland Sheepdogs in the country, Corwin won Best Bred by Exhibitor, and an Award of Merit. A picture of Corwin taken during this event can be seen in the January 2002 edition of the AKC Gazette magazine.

Corwin was also a multi-Group placing UKC champion, as well as a multi-Group placing National and International champion.

Corwin passed away just short of his 14th birthday.

AKC Ch. DarBozy Belle of the Ball

"Amaris"

Amaris was the epitome of femininity, and believe you me, she used it every chance she got. Especially after she dug a whopper sized hole in the backyard, or chewed up all the shoes in sight. Then she would jump into your lap, pat you on the face with her paw and give you really great smoochy kisses.

Amaris received her AKC championship on May 30, 2004 and is a multiple Best of Breed winner.

Amaris is featured in the book, The Official Book of the Polish Lowland Sheepdog.

She passed away August, 2012. She lived life with gusto, and never met a stranger she didn't like. She had personality galore!.
