DarBozy PONs, located in the scenic Rocky Mountains of Denver, Colorado, was established in 1992. My first Polish Lowland Sheepdog, Hannah, was a multiple Best of Breed and Group placing winner, and became the foundation of my kennel.Through her lifetime, she produced many Champions and National Specialty winners

First and foremost, all my PONs are 'family'. Although I love their shaggy hair and medium size, it is their keen intelligence and clownish, fun loving ways that continues to capture my heart, and the hearts of everyone they meet. Life is never dull with a PON for a companion.

The goal of my breeding program is to improve the breed. All my dogs are bred for health, temperament and physical soundness. Before breeding, my dogs must pass the OFA, or Orthopedic Foundation of America, certification for hips, as well as the CERF exam for eyes, and are tested for the RCD4 gene for PRA.

Along with my strong commitment to maintaining the welfare of this breed, I also enjoy showing my Polish Lowland Sheepdogs in conformation, herding and obedience. I have been a member of APONC, the national breed club, since 1992, where I have served through the years as both webmaster and Chairman of the Health Committee. Along with my AKC activities, I also participate in UKC, as well as other Rare Breed clubs.
