DarBozy PONs is located in Denver Colorado where I have owned and bred Polish Lowland Sheepdogs since 1992. Hannah was my first Polish Lowland Sheepdog and is the foundation of my kennel, DarBozy PONs. She was a multiple Best of Breed and Group winner, and produced many champions and National Specialty winners. First and foremost, however, all my PONs, are 'family'.

Through the years, the Polish Owczarek Nizinny, gradually became known as a PON, which is so much easier to pronounce than it's Polish name! Although I immediately fell in love with their shaggy hair and medium size, it is their keen intelligence and clownish, fun loving manner that has continued to amaze me all these years. Life is never dull with a PON for a companion.

All my dogs are bred for health, temperament and physical soundness. Before breeding, my dogs must pass the OFA, or Orthopedic Foundation of America, certification for hips, as well as the CERF exam for eyes, and are tested for the RCD4 gene for PRA.

Along with my strong commitment to maintaining the welfare of this breed, I also enjoy showing my Polish Lowland Sheepdogs in conformation, herding and obedience. I have been a member of APONC, the American Polish Lowland Sheepdog Club, since 1992. Along with my AKC activities, I also participate in UKC, as well as other Rare Breed clubs.
